Working Principle of Steel Mill Applied Electric Transport Wagon
The steel mill applied electric transport wagon is powered by dragging cable which is laid on the ground. It conducts AC 380V directly into the electrical control system of the electric transport wagon​ to let it start, stop, go forward and backward and so on. The cable line is placed between two rails. The operation system is low voltage 36V power. For the condition of short running distance and low speed, the chain can be used to reduce the abrasion of the cable.
